Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve

Just beyond downtown Guerneville, Armstrong Redwoods offers a classic Sonoma County summer outing: peaceful walks, towering coast redwoods, picnic areas, and easy access to some of the reserve’s most memorable scenery. The reserve is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to one hour after sunset.

Monte Rio Community Beach

Monte Rio Community Beach is the largest public beach on the lower Russian River and a favorite local spot for laid-back river days.  

Jenner & Sonoma Coast State Park
